how the programme works

The Cerebellum - The Next Source of competitive advantage

Research into learning by Harvard University in the 1990's identified the cerebellum as playing a key role in skill development. Developed to help people with dyslexia, amateur and professional athletes on the programme noticed a transformation in their sporting performance. Further research resulted in a programme for elite athletes; this has already impacted the lives of many professional sports people around the world. This programme is now available to amateur athletes who want get to the next level and become stars of the future.

The Scientific Breakthrough

The cerebellum is the skill centre of the brain and plays an integral part when learning a new skill and works very much like the gearbox within a car. A Ferrari cannot perform to its potential if it has a Lada gearbox to transfer power into performance. This is why improving the cerebellum is so crucial for athletes who have great talent but their performance is limited by the brains ability to process information and make certain skills automatic.

When the cerebellum isn't working efficiently athletes may experience some of the following:-

  • Poor concentration/mental tiring
  • Slow to pick up new skills/learn from mistakes
  • Lack of team/spatial awareness - 'tunnel vision'
  • Loss of emotional control e.g. poor discipline/confidence
  • Inconsistent kicking/catching/throwing
  • Inability to retain set pieces, tactics, strategy
  • Match day nerves poor 'big occasion' performance
  • Poor or slow decision making
  • Inability to anticipate & multi task

Rather than live and be limited by these the Dore Sport drug free programme of exercises, improve cerebellum performance permanently!
